With a small fleet of trucks and a team of experienced drivers, Murphy Fuel customers enjoy reliable heating oil deliveries for a fair price all year long.
Option 1 - Automatic Oil Delivery
With Murphy Fuel's full service oil heating, we understand your concerns about running out of oil and we want to ensure that your home or place of business remains warm and comfortable during the colder temperatures. To avoid any interruptions in service, we will analyze your oil usage in conjunction with the outdoor temperature fluctuations, to determine the most suitable automatic oil delivery schedule. Most companies aim to deliver when the tank is 25% full, however we target 33% - although it may be less efficient for us, targeting a higher tank reserve significantly reduces your risk of running out of oil, and we believe your comfort is worth the extra cost to us!
In addition, our service technicians are available 24 hours a day for emergency heating assistance, to address any repair issues that may arise with your oil tank, furnace, or oil boiler. Murphy Fuel wants to assure you that we follow only the highest standards in quality and safety, for your peace of mind.
*Automatic delivery is our most common and highly recommended option for our customers.
Option 2 - Will Call (Call to order each delivery)
We understand that automatic delivery may not be the best option for everyone, and that’s okay! Under the “will call” option, you’ll be responsible for monitoring your oil tank levels and calling Murphy Fuel to schedule your oil deliveries. Please be sure to call at least 2 business days in advance, and plan your deliveries for Monday - Friday (emergency weekend & holiday deliveries may be subject to additional charges). To avoid run-outs, we recommend calling before your tank gets below 25%.
A few points to keep in mind with “will call” delivery:
We require a minimum of 100 gallons for Waltham deliveries, or 150 gallons for other towns. Delivery requests for lower amounts may be subject to additional delivery charges.
We are not responsible for run-outs if you don’t provide sufficient notice for the delivery. We will deliver in emergency situations, but additional charges may apply for emergency deliveries.
